Community Service and Social Responsibility
Part of the focus of the Canadian Cadet Movement is community involvement and developing the cadets to be good citizens.
To this end, we will be focusing on 3 separate projects this year for the Markham Food bank. All cadets who participate will be given community service hours for school, as well as the satisfaction of knowing they have helped others.
Project: Food Drives
Many families are struggling to put food on their tables each and every day. People are willing to give to their local food banks at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. The cadets and staff at 748 RC(Army)CC are dedicated to help stock those shelves so that kids can eat. Please bring in canned and non-perishable food items.

In addition, as part of the training year cadets will perform Community Service at the local Markham Food Bank at 190 Bullock drive, Unit 11 Markham. Dates will be published as part of the monthly training/activity schedule.
